SOLD OUT!
Join Carrie for this 4 month program combining the sister sciences of yoga and āyurveda to create meaningful and lasting rituals in your life that will support your overall health and wellbeing.
We’ll use the wisdom of āyurveda to understand our own unique constitutions and the best ways to implement change based on our individuality, and discover the best time of year to focus on making these changes (hint: it’s not January!)
We’ll serve as an accountability group. RITUAL participants will meet in person 4 times, beginning in January and ending in April. At each meeting we will learn, share, and practice together.
Using the wisdom of āyurveda, we will develop a realistic plan of action, and rather than setting goals we will focus on the process of creating an environment that is supportive to our overall health and wellbeing.
Why RITUAL?
Change is hard. Humans are creatures of habit. What is familiar is comfortable and stable. Even when we are excited about our resolutions, adapting to new patterns can make us feel unstable and uncomfortable. Lasting change only happens when our consciousness shifts. Rituals are actions that are repeated in the same way, time and time again, and revered as sacred actions. Ritual not only provides consistency and stability, it imbues our actions with a sense of elevation. Rituals encapsulate mind, body, and spirit, for a holistic approach to your new year’s resolutions.
RITUAL will be rooted in the wisdom of yoga and āyurveda, which are replete with rituals for harmonizing and balancing our system. We’ll use this foundation to build supportive daily, nightly, and seasonal routines that are realistic, and doable even if your modern life feels busy and full.
Investment: $85 (included four 2 hour classes with Carrie, handouts, reference materials, special gifts to help you create your rituals, and non-social media based group support throughout the program)
** Only 8 participants accepted (small group setting allows for deeper study of yoga and āyurveda, and more personalized support)
** It is required that you attend all in person sessions (Mondays, Jan. 8. Feb. 5, March, 4, and April 8). If you can not commit to in person attendance for all 4 sessions, please do not register for this program.
