Uncharted Territory: A virtual weekend with Desiree Rumbaugh

Join the Inner Spring Yoga community in welcoming back Desiree Rumbaugh for an inspiring weekend of yoga. Even though we will be participating together-apart via Zoom, we will be able to feel each other’s energy and remember that we are not alone in this new world.

This unprecedented time has already changed our life experience, yet our practice remains a steady beacon of light. As many before us have done, we can trust in the teachings to guide us through the unknown. Faith and optimism are among the most valuable mindsets to cultivate right now and no one ever said it would be easy. Working with our body and mind through yoga is a powerful way to continue to live our best, most joy-filled life.

About Desiree:
Desiree Rumbaugh is an internationally recognized yoga teacher. She travels the globe offering workshops and retreats, sharing knowledge she has accumulated over the past three decades of working with students of all ages and levels of experience. She is the co-author of “Fearless After Fifty: How to Thrive With Grace, Grit and Yoga” and has online classes available through Tintyoga, Yoga Download, Yoga International, Gaia and OMStars. Desiree holds fast to the teaching that Love is Stronger Than Fear. Having navigated personal tragedy, she has relied on the study and practice of Yoga to help her move forward in life with inner strength and courage. Known also for her warmth, authenticity and playful sense of humor, Desiree is a master at delivering the complexity of yoga in a down-to-earth, easily understandable way.

She currently resides in San Diego with her husband, Andrew Rivin, where they are enjoying the pleasure of being near their grandchildren.

Desiree continues to evolve her teaching as she relies on her practice to stay centered when everything around her seems to be shifting. She refers to her style as alignment-based Hatha Yoga with an emphasis on body work rather than achievement of poses. Her experience of 30 plus years has taught her that keeping her body and mind tuned is her best investment. From that place of equanimity, anything is possible, including the ride through the unimaginable and unforeseen. For more information, please visit www.desireerumbaugh.com
